Spell Point Requirements: This spell will take at least 75 sp and at most 150 sp to cast.


NAME
  poison - infects the victim with harmful toxins

SYNOPSIS
  cast poison <victim>
  cast poison <object>

DESCRIPTION
  This deadly but versatile spell can be cast in several different
  ways. It is normally used to poison an opponent directly, but can
  also be applied to a weapon, and thus the venom can be introduced
  through combat. Especially devious magicians have been known to
  contaminate food, potions, drink containers, or even fountains in
  an attempt to catch enemies off guard.

  No matter which method is used to introduce the poison, it causes
  the victim to regenerate less quickly and reduces their strength
  and agility. The virulence of the toxins depends on the level of
  the caster, although most poisons can easily be reversed through
  magic.

If you are fighting someone or something and they die due to poison that you casted on or caused to effect them, you will not get credit for the kill.
