NAME
detect magic - allows the caster to sense magical energy

SYNOPSIS
cast 'detect magic'

DESCRIPTION
This spell allows the caster to sense objects and other structures that
have been the targets of enchantments. If an object is magical, it will
seem to be surrounded by a very dim blue aura.

This spell also allows the caster to see what "saving throw" resistances
are in effect on his person, as well as other special modifiers are
active, through use of the AFFECTS command.

REQUIREMENTS
* You must be a Wizard, Ranger or Monk in order to make use of this
spell.
* Casting this spell requires the use of 1 fire reagent.
* This spell has no minimum comprehension requirement.
* You may not use this spell while in combat.
