DESCRIPTION
Maces are clublike weapons, usually a stick or rod with
a heavy weight at one end, sometimes with spikes. Maces
can be highly effective against types of armor which do
not directly involve plates, such as leather armor or
chain mail, as the impact itself is what causes the
damage, not a sharp edge.
