mind shield - strengthens the mind against psionic attacks

SYNOPSIS
cast 'mind shield'

DESCRIPTION
This spell allows the caster to shield his thoughts somewhat from the
mental intrusions of other psionics and creatures with psionic ability.
While it is impossible to shield from all unwanted mental intrusion, a
trained psionic can fortify his mind to deal with most minor and some
moderate infractions.

The spell is performed by the caster holding the image of a brick wall
in his thoughts strongly enough that any mental intrusions, such as
through a teleview spell, is rendered impotent.

As holding a mental image in one's mind for any period of time is
quite difficult, this spell will drain a small amount of stamina from
the psionic for as long as it remains in effect.

REQUIREMENTS
* You must be a Psionic in order to make use of this spell.
* In order to practice this spell you must have achieved at least 56%
Spell Complexity Comprehension.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
* Requiring greater concentration, this spell is slow to cast.
* This spell may be cast while you are silenced.
* This spell has no somatic element.
* This spell drains you of 25 stamina per tick.
* This spell belongs to the Thought school.
