DESCRIPTION
The Hall of Honor is a permanent structure consisting of player-
sponsored shrines to theirs and other characters. More information
on obtaining this can be found at the Reward Units information
page, located at: http://www.materiamagica.com/store/ru/
Hall of Honor shrines are available via Reward Units only and are
permanant monuments within the game. Each shrine consists of a
statue and a plaque, which are designed by the player who is
sponsoring the shrine creation. They are roleplaying enforced,
meaning that the description of the statue and the plaque must
be approved by the Game Services team.
Once you have obtained a Reward Units voucher for a spot in the
Hall of Honor, you may craft a description for the room that will
house the statue and plaque(s). The description should reflect the
tastes of the character, and must be from 5-15 lines of text.
Then, you may craft a description for the statue that you would
like placed in the shrine. The statue description must be between
5-20 lines of text, and must be related to the character's deeds
within the world of Alyria. A little fantasy is permitted, but
please keep it within the bounds of the existing mythology of
the game.
The plaque(s) will be mounted at the base of the statue and can
contain a story or a description of the history of the character.
If you wish to add stories, tales, or deeds to the shrine you may
request additional plaques at no additional fee. Plaques must have
between 5-50 lines of text.
In addition, you must provide keywords for all of the notable nouns
mentioned within the room, statue, and plaque descriptions. There
should be at least six for each aspect of the shrine: the room, the
statue, and the plaque, totaling 18 minimum. The more the better
(they really add to the detail of a room), though there is a limit of 30.
An example of items requiring further explanation might be a shield
mounted to the wall with its own small history, a painting, a tapestry, etc.
Anything that is mentioned in any of the descriptions should have an
additional keyword. Keywords should be 3-15 lines long and should
be a description of what is being looked at.
You may also choose which part of the Hall of Honor you would
like to have the shrine placed. The parts of the hall are as
follows:
Crystal - honorable warrior heroes
Obsidian - chaotic, evil, infamous legends
Ivory - intellectual and studious types
Marble - great adventurers of all types
Characters who obtain a Hall of Honor shrine and who are still
within the game will have their ARCHON title replaced on the
WHO list with a "LEGEND" marker for further distinction.
Hall of Honor shrines are a fantastic way to leave behind a
record of your time in Materia Magica. Whether you are still
playing the game, planning to move on, or have moved on, a
shrine is an excellent way to immortalize yours or a friend's
character within the world of Alyria.

about the shrine and its descriptions.
As these shrines are custom-created, please allocate 2-4 weeks
for the process to be completed.
