SYNOPSIS
breathe acid <victim>
DESCRIPTION
The breathe ability, unique to dracons, allows them to spit a variety of
dangerous substances toward their opponents. Acid breath is one of their
most deadly attacks, for it can eat its way through armor and still
damage the victim.
REQUIREMENTS
* This skill is only received racially.
* No reagents are required to cast this spell.
* In order to practice this skill you must have achieved at least 30%
Mystical Complexity Comprehension.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
* This skill may be used from any position in a formation, regardless of
obstruction.

A nasty breath to use in combat, it can destroy your opponent's equipment. Do not use it if you want that creature's items.
In PK, this is a vicious weapon and should only be used on mortal enemies.

Salanth is referring to real acid, dracon acid breath is pretty harmless when you get > level 120.

actually...acid breath finds some nice uses ...certain items at high level frag quite easily, so why not use the relatively cheap acid breath to do the job?
use on mobs however...is as salanth said...not smart...
