DESCRIPTION
Many of the players of Alyria find love and wish to affirm these vows
and be married by an Immortal. Just like in real life a wedding can be
an expensive endeavor. Here are the costs:
NOTE: No marriages of convenience are allowed. Multiple spouses are also
not allowed. Same sex marriages are allowed on approval of the Immortal
Staff of Game Services.
Base Cost: 5,000,000 gp - This includes an Immortal to officiate at
the ceremony and the arrangement of transportation of your invited guests
to and from the Wedding Pavilion. Invitations to your guests are also included
in the base cost of the wedding and will be sent out 3 days prior to the
wedding date. It also includes a small reception with your guests to help
you celebrate the event. Clothing will be provided at no extra charge
for you and your attendants (limit of 5 attendants - and by attendants we
mean bridesmaids, best man, maid-of-honor, groomsmen, not guests). Restringing
of items for your wedding such as rings, etc. is not available.
Custom Wedding Chapel: You may design the one-room wedding chapel of your
dreams with this option. Create a waterfall or forest experience, or even a
mountaintop theme with this option. The options are limited to the stretches
of your own imagination. The cost for this extra feature is 2,500,000 gp.
Adding Spouse to Home Recall: Reward Unit Area Homes 2,000,000 gp, all others
are 1,000,000 gp per home. One key for the new spouse is included in the cost
of the move-in fees.
Please include the following information in your request:
1. Who are you marrying?
2. What is the date and time of the ceremony? (be sure to include time zone
as it could differ from that where the Immortal lives)
3. Where is the wedding site located within the Wedding Complex? There
are multiple rooms to be chosen from. NOTE: No marriages/weddings will
be performed outside the Wedding Complex.
4. Who will be performing this wedding? (It is preferred that you
leave this choice up to us; however if you desire special arrangements
you must make your own contact and arrangements with the attending
Immortal, and wait for a confirmation email from the Immortal you have
chosen to perform the ceremony as well as Game Services).
5. Will you require invitations? If so, please begin preparing a list of
invitees to be given to the Immortal about 7 days prior to the event. Custom
invitations can be made at an additional cost of 1 million gold.
6. Will you have a certain theme in mind, saying your own vows or anything
like that the Immortal would need to be aware. Otherwise the standard wedding
ceremony will be performed.
Please keep all of these things in mind while planning the event.
*** As in real life, a wedding takes lots of planning. You must notify
the Immortal at least 15 days in advance so that all planning can be done
and invitations can be created if necessary and sent out.
Once the Immortals have checked to make sure that you have gone through
the required handfasting, you will be contacted for further details and
confirmation of your wedding request.
