SYNOPSIS
where
where <search string>
DESCRIPTION
This command will report a list of players and their specific
locations, based on their proximity to you. This command may
be used once every thirty seconds.
The WHERE command also accepts string search arguments, where
<search string> is a player name or partial name.
Strings can include the following wildcards:
* Matches everything (e.g., *fred*, or fred* or *fred)
? Matches a single character (e.g., fr?d)

This command, while useful for seeing where nearby players are located, is useless against ethereal and shifted characters. If you are entering a PK zone and wish to see if it is truly empty, use 'shout' and see how many hear your message of warning.

using shout can be dangerous considering people can set quiet on
