Bolrag's Guide to Tellerium

As you enter the city of Tellerium, you may fell slightly apprehensive. A warrior town? Are the players here going to be barbaric, violent and brutal? The answer to this question is not at all. True, the players here are mostly warrior classes, but they aren't at all barbaric. However, one thing you should know before entering the city is that there is a magical barrier surrounding the city, which inhibits the use of magic within. And you won't find any magic shops in Tellerium. So the city is more suited to warriors, but you will be welcome here. If you type 'recall' then you will find yourself in an operating room. This is part of Tellerium's Hospital facility, the best in Alyria. Medical breakthroughs occur here often. Directly south of the Hospital is Tellerium Prison. If you are arrested, for bribing a prison officer for example, you will be sent here. But you can have a look around if you want to.

Tellerium has a few places of worship within its city walls. St. Mary's Church is located on Clipper Road, and the Chapel of Legends is located next to the Fighter's Guild. The Fighter's Guild is where you can train multiple proficiencies, both offensive and defensive, and attributes. North if the Fighter's Guild is Howell Park, and to South the Garden of Champions, Tellerium's open green spaces.

South of the Garden of Champions is the Avros Capital Building, the seat of power on the continent. South of this is the Avros Courthouse.

Tellerium is a thriving town of industry; there are three mills, a sawmill, a textile mill, and the millworks. There On Gulf Street there is a Cigar Factory. If you are a sailor with a boat that's damaged, then there is a Dry Dock on Gulf, the southernmost road of the city.

For all of you players interested in PK, then the Arena is the place for you. Located directly to the north of the Hall of Heroes, a place of remembrance for those great warriors before us. To the west of the Hall of Heroes is the Town Hall. The workplace of Lord Telleri, this is where you will find most players congregate, as Lord Telleri is the local Quest Master. He distributes quests and sells quest items to players. If you are of a low level then this is the perfect way of getting acquainted with the city. Quests for higher levelled players involve having some knowledge of the town.

There are multiple shops for you to choose from, such as Frederick's Butcher Shop on Cooper Street, or just north of the Chapel of Legends is Dreen's Armour. However, a good place to buy various artefacts or herbs is Market Street. Here you will find many street traders who sell lots of different things that you may not find in other cities.

Just south of the North Gates is Embassy Row. Here, there are embassies to all other major continents. South of here is the Town Square where you will find a fountain that quenches your thirst and satisfies your hunger. Arielle the Tourguide is also located here. She will tell you very specific directions around town, to places such as the Fighter's Guild and the Town Hall.

For those of you who like to indulge themselves, there is a Day Spa just off Battle Blvd. And for those of you who like this kind of thing, there are two Brothels in Tellerium; The Stormy Nights Brothel on Felstaff, and the Bright Nights Brothel on Wilkenson Blvd., the westernmost road in the city.

There is a Rogue Guild and a Cavalier Guild in the city. For those players who like their ale, there are many public houses within Tellerium's boundaries. McGile's Pub, Peachtree Tavern and the Knave's Tavern to name just a few. As well as drinking establishments, there are numerous restaurants and cafes in the city, such as the Ocean View Restaurant and the Workers Café.

There is a Boathouse just outside the Southern Gates of the city, where one can purchase boats or get them repaired. If you do have a boat then the south pier is ideal for anchoring your boat and heading into Tellerium for some rest and relaxation.

Just west of the Town Square is Jasper Circle, where prominent civilians of Tellerium are housed. You will meet the most famous and richest of Tellerium's citizens here. However, the Gatekeeper has been known to not let players into the Circle...

Have fun in Tellerium, as there is a lot to be offered in the city. And, if the NPCs just aren't challenging enough for you in Tellerium, there's always Templeton to the north…
