NAME
stone curse - transforms living flesh into stone temporarily

SYNOPSIS
cast 'stone curse' <victim>

DESCRIPTION
This spell temporarily displaces the molecules of the target's organic
body and replaces them with elemental stone.

The effect can be quite horrific to endure and is known to affect some
victims' sanity. When the process is complete the consciousness of the
victim remains trapped within the stone form that his body has become
and it can be quite maddening.

The victim cannot move or perform actions, while at the same
time, is protected from any physical and magical attacks for the duration
of the spell. To everyone else he will appear to have become a solid
stone statue that resembles the previous victim.

While this spell is called a 'curse' it is too powerful to be reversed
by a standard 'remove curse' spell. And since the target is impervious
to all magic, it effectively cannot be dispelled through normal means.
