NAME
shift - transform into the appearance of another creature
SYNOPSIS
shift <creature to emulate>
DESCRIPTION
Faerie characters - those of the Fey and Sidhe races - have the ability
to change shape due to their magical natures. They are not able to change
shapes except at night, and have trouble maintaining a shifted form
during the day. Faeries must practice at this skill to become learned,
but cannot shift into forms that are more advanced than they are.
Some creatures have natural resistance to being copied by the faerie
SHIFTING skill. Additionally, faeries cannot shift into the images of
creatures who are more powerful than they are.
Shapeshifting is a useful player skill as players cannot easily tell who
you are. But beware! There are ways of detecting a shapeshifted character.

this is a cool skill although i myself am not so good at it yet. i can only shift into a few things. it takes alot of spell points though. oh and helpful hint, to go back to your normal self, just type 'shift', be warned, that requires spell points as well. or you can just wait till it fades away. :)
