NAME
sanctify - abjures evil from the caster's area
DESCRIPTION
This spell calls upon the caster's goodness and cleanses the area of evil
thoughts and images, thus rendering it clean in the eyes of the Powers.
Such sanctification has the increased regenerative affects for spell
points, hit points, and stamina. It also will remove curses and certain
other evil spells, if the level that the sanctify spell was cast is
greater than the malevolent magic.
The effects of sanctification will, of course, only work on people in
the sanctified area who are not possessed of an evil alignment.
Sanctification cannot be performed in an area that has seen recent
battles, or in an area where fighting is currently taking place.
Starting a fight in a sanctified area will immediately dispel the effect.
