restringing - information on restringing items using
               the SHOP RESTRING command

DESCRIPTION
Some special shopkeepers have the power to alter the
very nature of an item and make it look and appear
different to the layperson.

You can do this using the SHOP RESTRING command:
SHOP RESTRING <item name> [<field name> or 'reset'] <description>

Fields that may be restrung are:
keywords - words used to reference the item (5 - 120 letters),
            no color codes allowed
short - description of the item as it appears in your
         inventory (5 - 60 letters), up to 10 color codes
long - description of the item when it is on the ground
        (5 - 120 letters), up to 10 color codes
specialname - for specific items, namely toy soldiers,
               toy wizards, and toy shamans. Gives the item
               a name that shows up when the toy transforms.

Keyword fields will always restring the item but
keep the original keywords intact. Keyword fields cannot
contain color codes. Descriptions may be limited
depending on the field being restrung.

You may not use dollar signs, the tilde character, or
inverted colors in any field. You may not use any of the
following characters in the short description field:
@, %, ^, `, ;, &, or *.

You do not need to enclose the <description> field in
single quotes; the description will be as you type it.

Using a restring coin on a piece of generic or customizable
housing furniture will allow you to customize it again. This
is currently limited to Sit On/At/In furniture, save-location
house storage and fountains. USE the coin on the furniture
and the item in question will be able to be customized
again.

Restringing requires the use of strange coins,
available in Reward Unit shoppes. Restrung equipment
must be game-related in nature and cannot contain
words or phrases that are anachronistic or violate
the global channel rules. If an item is found to
violate the aforementioned rules it will be removed
permanently, so please be careful.

If you have a restrung item and wish to reset it to
its default form, use the SHOP RESTRING <item name> 'reset'
version of the SHOP RESTRING command. This will cost one
strange coin and will work instantly on all fields,
specifically keywords, short, and long. It will also
remove an engraving, if the object has one.
