REPUTATION
NAME
reputation - your reputation as a player based on player kills
DESCRIPTION
Your reputation score as a player is a number from -100 to 100.
This reputation score classifies your character's esteem to other
players - a low reputation score marks you as someone to stay
away from, and a high reputation score marks you as a positive
player.
Point distribution is as follows:
Saint 100 points
Good 75-99 points
Neutral 45-74 points
Bad 1-44 points
Outlaw -100 to 0 points
When you start the game, your reputation is neutral (50). As you
kill other players, your reputation score will change
depending on the circumstances. Killing a player in a Chaotic
Playerkilling Room (CPK), for instance, will damage your
reputation more than killing someone in a Neutral Playerkilling
Room. Killing a member of a PKILL clan will not cost you as
many reputation points as killing a normal player.
Each real-life week, you will gain 7-12 reputation points. If you
are away from the game for an extended period of time (a month
or so) you will get credit for one week only.
OUTLAWS
When your reputation score drops to 0, you become an Outlaw. This
outcast of society is attacked by guards far and wide, and will
have his name be marked in red in the WHO list. Players will know
you are someone to stay away from. Of course, player-killing an
Outlaw will not cost the opposing player any reputation points.
SAINTS
When your reputation score rises to 100, you become a Saint. This
virtuous member of society should be held in high esteem, as
someone who chooses to refrain from player-killing except as
necessary, or someone who chooses to hunt only Outlaws and bring
them to justice.
