DESCRIPTION
There is no recommendation or method of recruitment better than word
of mouth. The strongest tie to a game is social bonds, and the easiest
way to teach someone how to play an online game is in person. For referring
a new player to Materia Magica, successively better rewards can be earned.
Credit is earned once a new referred player becomes level 100, and
is increased from there. Only one player may get referral credit per
player; the first parent on an adoption certificate gets credit for
their child. Referrals are made by SAYTOing Lord Agrippa 'referral
<player name>', before that player logs in for the first time. Please
do not use referrals for alts; new characters only. Hardcore characters
are not counted towards referrals. The rewards are as follows:

3: 3500 build points
    OR 60M experience
    OR 7K archon points
    OR a gold renewal token  
8: 84 rewardunits
    OR 10000 build points
    OR 10 betters, distributed among your choice of skill(s)
16: Design a new object named after you and receive it
    OR Receive a Super Dreadnaught
30: Design a new spell and receive it
    OR All mobs in Rune will greet and/or fear you presence  
50: A shrine will be erected in your honor and filled with worshipers in
    Xaventry
    OR A global will be thrown in your honor
75: Paid airfare and accommodations from anywhere in the continental
     US to be the guest of honor at Vassago's next Halloween Party
     OR Receive a full equipment set of any current items in the game
    
Referral credit takes effect at level 100, count for double at level 200,
and triple at archon level 80.

Rewards are granted at the discretion of the immortals, and subject to
oversight.
