NAME
multiply magic - increases the magical power of certain magical items

SYNOPSIS
cast 'multiply magic' <item name>

DESCRIPTION
This spell enhances the magical field surrounding an already-enchanted
item. It will increase the magical power of the item up to the level of
the caster. Depending on the level difference, this may take several
casts. When the item's magic is multiplied, it becomes bound to the
caster of the spell and may not be discarded until it is spent.

Be warned that there is a risk, albeit small, of the additional magic
causing a flawed item to overload and explode. This spell will not work
on magic-resistant items.

Proficiency in the 'magical items' skill can enhance the effectiveness
of this spell. Types of items that may have their magic enhanced by
means of this spell include:

Scrolls             Staves            Orbs
Wands               Pills             Potions
