guides - information on these mysterious assistants
DESCRIPTION
Certain players who have the strong desire to help new players adjust
to the unique world of Alyria are designated as GUIDES. This designation
is visible by typing the GUIDE command.
GUIDES have the ability to monitor prays, and join and leave the
Novice Clan.
A Guide can also assist in player-to-player squabbles, and is trusted
to mediate minor disputes.
Guides are also useful to help manage player-to-player trades of in-game
items. If you wish to trade an item with another player, it is always
wisest (and recommended) to engage a guide to act as an escrow between
you and the character with which you are trading. This way, the guide
acts as an independent third party and will hold onto the tradeable
item(s) until both parties are satisfied with the deal.

Please understand that Guides are not Immortals.
If you are stuck, please explain how you got stuck as clearly as possible.
The more details, the better a Guide will be able to help solve your problem.
If you wish to conduct a transaction with another player, all you need to do is pray and request a guide for a trade.
Any trades can be overseen by a guide.
Please make sure both parties are ready before praying. Arrange transport and location beforehand.
If the item is enforce-level, ensure that the guide who responds is the appropriate level.
Guides are experienced players who find it enjoyable to help others. We're here for the times when you've done your best to research a question or solve a problem. Sometimes we're talking to several players at once, so please be patient if you get asked to wait or referred to another guide.
Choose from the Guides whose names appear under the Guide command. If a Guide disables that toggle without going offline it means he or she is busy with other matters.
