gold - view the amount of gold you have on hand, and in banks

SYNOPSIS
gold

DESCRIPTION
This command allows you to view the amount of gold you have on
hand, and gives you a listing of all current open bank accounts
and their balances.

GOLD may be abbreviated as '$'.

Gold can get heavy, so deposit often in the bank of your choice.

If you have too much gold "on hand" then you will not recieve any gold for sacrificing items. This amount varies based on your level.
