DRACON
The Dracons are a race of large humanoids who were magically evolved from
dragons. They strongly resemble their ancestors, and although they are
only about five feet tall, they still have scaly skin, sharp teeth, long
tails, and massive wings. Because of their origins, Dracons are innately
evil. They are natural enemies of the Minotaurs, and will attempt to
attack and kill them whenever possible.
Along with their appearance, the Dracons also inherited many abilities
from their ancestors. One power that they still possess is the skill to
breathe fire, frost, lightning, gas, or acid at their foes. Dracons also
have limited flying ability, and retain their thick hides. As a result,
Dracons gain a bonus to their armor resistance which increases as they
gain experience and are resistant to fire and to bashing weapons. A flaw
in their skin makes them vulnerable to extreme cold. While they are
physically strong, they tend to be rather dull-witted and can only be
trained in a few different classes.
Dracons' racial ability is to make elemental breath attacks without hindrance.
Dracons may choose from the following classes:
Wizard Rogue Barbarian Psionic Shaman
Witch Knave
There are limits on how much any attribute or vital statistic can be trained
by dracons:
Hit Points: 2250 Spell Power: 1800 Stamina: 2000
Strength: 20 Knowledge: 18 Wisdom: 18
Agility: 19 Vitality: 20 Luck: 17
Courage: 18 Sanity: 17 Personality: 16

Dracon breath weapons are not powerful after 3rd class. Players suffer *serious* lag when breathing fire/acid/etc. This can -easily- get you killed when fighting creatures that cast spells at you.
Example: Player breaths fire at an NPC, and suffers from breath lag. NPC starts casting web while Player is lagged. Player recovers from lag and NPC finishes casting web. NPC now begins to cast silence on Player. Before Player can dispel the web or calm/escape, NPC finishes casting silence. Player is now at the mercy of the NPC, and will likely be dead in a few rounds.
Breath Lag Workaround: do not use breath weapons after level 120 for any reason. Use bash/kick, cast a powerful attack spell, or throw an explosive. These all have far less associated lag than breath weapons and (except for kick) cause more damage.
