bloodlines - Latent racial and familial attributes

DESCRIPTION
All adventurers carry in their blood attributes of both their race and
ancestry.  These positive attributes can range from additional resistance
to spells, to increased durability. These had, however, gone unnoticed
for eons, as they are naturally latent and unused. Recently, researchers
discovered a biomagical process to activate each individual's full
genealogical spectrum.  This process is extremely costly, requiring the full
efforts of a team of doctors as well as mages.

As such, one must both be an Archon, and prove oneself to the Ageless One
of Xaventry.  Beware, however, as the test she administers is as arduous as
any in Alyria.  If one manages to complete her quest, she will give her
approval for your positive attributes to be activated by the finest
of Alyrian hematologists.  This trait will be permanent and unremovable
by any means, including magical dispelling.

Adventurers wishing to begin this process must deliver a vial of their
own blood to the Ageless One.  These vials can be obtained at various
members of the Van Pelt family, and at all questmasters.

If the Bloodline quest becomes interrupted for whatever reason*, the
Adventurer may pick up where they left off by delivering another vial
of their blood to the Ageless One.

* Such as by logging off, a server reboot (expected or unexpected), etc.
