AWAY

NAME
away - mark yourself as being 'away' from the keyboard, or removes it

SYNOPSIS
away
away <message>

DESCRIPTION
This lets other players know you're not there at the moment.
By typing 'away <away message>' you can leave a reason why you
are away, shown whenever anyone tells you something.

If you are going AWAY for more than a minute or two it is advisable
to do so in the chat rooms. You may remain idle there without danger
of having your character killed.

To return from being 'AWAY', just type the AWAY command again, with
no message.

If you are set 'AWAY' and wish to change the away message, type the
AWAY command with the updated message.

Please do not use an offensive away message designed to irritate those who wish to speak with you. Alternating colours and long strings of SPAM are not tolerated.

An away message is useful for indicating to other players that you are currenly not at the keyboard, or are unavailable to participate in conversation for another reason. Many players set an away message when affected by the Silence spell.
