This box represents the pinnacle of Grat's magical studies.  The fact that
it actually works says more for luck than skill, maybe, but nonetheless, it
DOES work.  It is a puzzle box consisting of an iron frame and sides made of
jasper gemstone, and a top and bottom made of black moonstone.  It hums and
generates its own heat, though the stone sides stay cool to the touch. 
Quite a prize, indeed.
