This crossbow bolt is a standard size, a thick shaft of pine wood about a
quarter of an inch in diameter.  The end has been polished to a blunt tip
and from the looks of the soot caked onto it, hardened in flame.  The grain
of the wood is apparent along the bolt's shaft, creating a nice looking
design to pierce your target's flesh with.  Unlike arrows, the bolt is
shorter and does not has the traditional crown of feathers at the opposite
end, instead a triad of thin bronze slats support it upon the crossbow.
