This band looks ready to assist its wearer, but it also has an odd,
forboding quality.  It is almost pitch black, and the meteorite seems to
carry a perpetual whiff of burning, or smoke.  This was probably a raw
meteorite, with a hole cut out for a finger to slip through.  A few carvings
also seem to have been added, and are an unfortunate defacement of this
ring's natural, if unnerving, beauty.
