The wizard Kessler may be thoroughly mad, but he still knows how to feed
himself.  In a way, it almost makes sense that he would have had to have
paid a local smuggler to take his wares to an entirely different continent
to sell his things, with an appropriately huge markup.  Yet, as powerful as
Kessler's magic is, along with his products, it seems unusual to the point
of overly-specialized that it only works in Tellerium.  It may be a result
of the geographic region the magic was made in- it may be a pointed jab at
Lord Telleri- it may just be an eccentricity manifesting to gain him more
visitors.  Whatever it is, it probably is for a reason...  Probably.
