You recognize this beret as a style that was popular among sailors many
years ago.  It's made out of a soft but sturdy cloth and fits snuggly on
your head.  Mostly black in color, it has small patches of brown all over it
as well, probably from the dusty floor.  It smells very musty and you can't
help but wonder what happened to the poor person who lost it, and why they
never came back for it.
